Now that I got the demographic stuff out of the way, I can go on to the real me…..the things that Stats Canada doesn’t ask for.  I graduated high school then took 2 years off before entering college.  I initially only wanted to take 1 year off to work and save money for college but as usual, things never really go according to plan.  While working and figuring out my place in the world I learned so many life lessons but also experienced some memorable moments as well.  For example: When I was 18, I felt like chasing after one of my dreams of becoming a commercial model.  After a few photo shoots and a couple of music videos I decided maybe modeling wasn’t the right thing for me.  I wanted to pursue so many careers in college from fashion to journalism to even psychology, but in the end Advertising was my choice. 

Why am I blogging? Along with this blog being part of my actual grade , I am blogging to let people know I have a voice and I am willing to share it as long as there are people willing to listen.  People would come to my blog because I think I know a little bit about everything.  One thing I’ve learned from advertising is that everyone wants to be in the know, from gossip, fashion, music, and movies people would come to my blog to be informed on the latest and most greatest.

I will be blogging about everything and anything that is happening in the media industry and pop culture today: Music, Ads, Movies, Gossip, Fashion, Events and much more.  I love pop culture and the way it influences the media and I feel with my thirst for knowledge, others would use my blog as an information tool.
